The Credit Roll of the Fool (愚者のエンドロール Gusha no Endororu) is the second volume of the Classic Literature Club series by Honobu Yonezawa published in Japan on July 31, 2002.[1]

The volume's subtitle is Why didn't she ask EBA?, which is a reference to the 1934 Agatha Christie detective fiction novel Why Didn't They Ask Evans?

As they are pressed for time in preparing for the school festival, the members of the Classics Club watched an independent film made by the seniors. What is the true meaning behind the interrupted shot on the shocking murder scene set in a dilapidated house?

Full Summary[]

"Oreki-san, I'm very curious!" Chitanda said those words after watching an independent film made by a class for the school festival. In the last part of the film, after taking the keys to a dilapidated house, a boy behind closed doors had his hand sliced off and died. Who killed the boy? How was he killed? But before everything could be revealed, the movie met an abrupt end. Chitanda, who is curious about what happens next, set out with her friends Houtarou Oreki and the others in search for the movie's conclusion!
